Mattress Sizes

Standard Mattress Sizes
Twin: (Also know as single) 39” X 75” – Twin mattresses are often used for children, bunk beds, and day beds.
Full: (Also know as double) 54”X75” – Full size mattresses are often used for children and guest rooms. If two adults sleep in a full size, they would have the equivalent of a crib mattress of sleeping surface.
Queen: 60”X80” – Queen size mattresses are the most popular size, often used in the master bedroom. Each sleeper gets 30” of sleep space (slightly less than a twin size). Queen sized mattresses are good if you prefer more living space in your bedroom.
King: 76”X80” – King size mattresses are preferable if you have a large enough bedroom to accommodate it. A king size offers more space for couples, pets and restless sleepers.
